Farm workflow automation with a review before execution
Turn reusable plans into reviewed calendar tasks and explicitly approve connected assistant operations.
Farm automation is useful when you can inspect what will happen before it changes your records. AgriDigi supports reusable action plans, private farm programs, calendar-task previews and explicitly reviewed plugin operation plans. This page describes those supported planning and approval workflows rather than promising unattended control of farm equipment.
Hub capsules give published action plans or datasets a description, usage context, version and license. Browse that context before reuse. An action plan can become your own private program; a dataset is a resource to inspect, not automatically a task plan or an instruction to operate machinery.
From a reusable plan to reviewed calendar tasks
Adapt an action plan into My programs and keep the source version and license. Edit the title, crop, relative day offsets, steps and inputs for your own farm. Adaptation does not immediately add calendar tasks. Choose the fields, start date, time zone and steps, then inspect the resulting preview, including start and end times where a duration is supplied.
After confirmation, application history provides links to the created tasks. Their details retain the personal program and source context. Separately, the AgriDigi plugin connection lets a compatible assistant access approved record categories under your authorization. Complex supported changes are prepared as an exact operation plan for review and explicit approval in AgriDigi before execution.
Example: adapt a shared field-work plan
- Open an action-plan capsule in Hub. Read the conditions, usage guidance, author, license and version before deciding whether it fits your operation.
- Choose Adapt to my program and sign in when asked. Review the private copy; this step does not create tasks.
- Edit the steps, relative days, quantities and units for your fields. Save the program before applying it.
- Choose Preview and schedule. Select your owned fields, start date, time zone and intended steps, then review every generated task and time range.
- Confirm calendar-task creation once. Check application history and open the resulting tasks rather than assuming a network response alone tells the whole outcome.
A reusable source becomes an identifiable personal program and a reviewed set of calendar tasks, with the original context still available.
What to review before you use this workflow
- A published plan is not a local agronomic recommendation. Review climate, crop, units, timing and conditions before adopting its steps.
- Plugin access is scoped and can be managed through connections. Approved free-text records may contain information you entered; inspect authorization and privacy guidance before connecting an assistant.
- Reviewed operations do not grant autonomous execution without approval. These workflows do not promise automatic irrigation, autonomous drone flights, background payments or physical device control.
Frequently asked questions
Does adapting a capsule immediately schedule work?
No. It creates a private program. Calendar tasks are created only through the separate preview-and-confirm application workflow.
Which time zone applies to a program?
Choose the time zone when previewing and applying the program. Review the displayed task dates and ranges; the calendar may display those times in your viewing time zone.
Can an assistant change farm records without review?
The supported complex-change handoff prepares an operation plan for explicit review and approval in AgriDigi. Read the plugin guide for connection scopes and the approval workflow.
