Agricultural datasets and farm plans with reusable context

Inspect a resource’s publisher, context, license and version before using its data or adapting its action plan.

A useful agricultural resource includes more than a file or a list of steps. AgriDigi Hub publishes farm capsules with descriptions, usage context, publisher identity, versions and licenses. A capsule can contain a dataset or an action plan; choose the resource type that matches the work you want to investigate.

Browse published capsules and profiles without exposing your private farm workspace. A dataset helps you inspect supplied agricultural data. An action plan provides ordered steps that can be adapted into a private farm program. Neither becomes suitable for a different farm simply because it is public or popular.

Inspect provenance before reusing data or a plan

Open the publisher profile and capsule. Read the summary, detailed context, current version, license and any stated conditions. For a dataset, inspect its data card and file information, including the meaning of columns, units and collection context where supplied. Check the applicable access controls before attempting to retrieve files.

For an action plan, inspect its steps, relative timing and inputs. Use Adapt to my program when you want a private working copy. Review its source version and license, edit it for your own operation, then preview the intended calendar tasks with your fields, start date and time zone. Creating a private copy is separate from scheduling work.

Example: evaluate a shared field-work plan

  1. Browse Hub and choose the action-plan filter. Open a capsule and identify its publisher and version.
  2. Read the conditions, license, step descriptions and material units. Compare them with your own crop, equipment and local conditions.
  3. When appropriate, sign in and adapt the capsule into a private program. Keep the source attribution and review the copied inputs.
  4. Edit relative day offsets, quantities and steps for your farm. Select the intended fields, start date and time zone in the scheduling preview.
  5. Confirm only the task preview you have reviewed. Open the resulting tasks and retain the source context for later comparison.

The published resource remains identifiable, and your private program and calendar tasks retain a clear connection to the version you chose to adapt.

What to review before you use this workflow

  • Public visibility does not establish data accuracy, local suitability, expert endorsement or unrestricted reuse. Read the actual capsule license and verify consequential claims.
  • Dataset columns and collection methods are publisher supplied. Inspect missing values, units, dates, locations and collection conditions before combining resources or comparing measurements.
  • Private and unlisted capsules, moderated content and member farm records are excluded from public discovery. Public browsing does not authorize an assistant to retrieve private files or change farm records.

Frequently asked questions

Can I browse the agricultural Hub without an account?

Yes. Published, listed capsules and publisher profiles are publicly readable. Account actions, file access and private farm records follow their own sign-in and permission requirements.

Does a public dataset automatically have an open license?

No. Read the license on the specific capsule and version. A public listing alone does not grant unrestricted reuse, remove attribution requirements or verify the underlying data.

What happens when I adapt an action plan?

Adaptation creates a private program with its source version and license. Review and edit its steps and inputs, then separately preview and confirm calendar tasks for your own fields.
